Description
The gorgeous and spectacular St Mary falls of Glacier National Park, Montana. This incredible lighting event presents itself in a very short window of opportunity each year. Illuminating the rising mist and spray off the powerful cascading waterfall, the low angle of the sun adds dramatic warmth and occasional beams of light just before it tucks behind the distant mountain range. The blue-green waters are all-natural as this is the result of snowmelt capturing talc minerals and carrying them as runoff.
